Teach me Right
SG Project Silent is a ground-up initiative by AquaFins founder, Mr Danny Ong to celebrate our swim school’s 15th Anniversary.
What is Project Silent?
Over the years, there were misconception and lack of understanding in the areas of drowning and prevention work. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has work tirelessly over the years since 2002 to develop policies and guidelines for countries to adopt.
We are promoting the drowning prevention message that “Drowning is Silent” across the island. This project idea was inspired by the personal story of Dr John Francis, the Planet Walker.

AWWA will be opening a 2nd AWWA School by 2022, located at Bedok, for 300 students age 7 to 18 years old with Autism. AWWA aims to develop the abilities of every child, enabling them to reach their fullest potential.
Changing lives through sport. At SportCares, we are built on the belief that sport is a shared
language that can bring people together and provides an invaluable tool to empower the
vulnerable, the isolated and persons with disabilities to lead better lives. Since 2012,
SportCares has reached out and engaged more than 40,000 children, youth, persons with
disabilities, special needs individuals and vulnerable seniors through prosocial development
programmes and events in the community.

We pledge to respect water as an environment where our personal water safety is our responsibility.
As children, we pledge to have an accompanying adult who will watch us when we are swimming or playing in and around water environments.
As parents, we pledge to be free of distractions, as we keep watch over our children keenly when they are swimming or playing in and around water environments.
